Tickets start at 100000; ID numbers use the numbers below it.
System
Off: every screen is English and no language button appears anywhere — exactly how the app behaved before Spanish was added. On: the kiosk, the phone page (/Mobile), the signature pad and the ticket views can run in Spanish. Office and admin pages are English either way.
Used for date pickers, completed-tickets grid, ticket prints. Pick a custom IANA ID by editing the database directly if your zone isn't listed.

Standard Fields

Hidden fields disappear from the weigh forms, grids, reports, printed tickets, and kiosk prompts. Stored values are kept but not shown. Weights, dates, and the ticket number are always visible. Header is what the site calls the field everywhere it appears (e.g. Product for Commodity, Vendor for Carrier) — blank keeps the standard name.

Notes
Hiding Carrier also hides Truck ID (trucks belong to carriers). While Retained Tare is enabled, Carrier and Truck ID stay visible. Order sorts fields on the weigh forms — standard and custom fields share one scale, so a custom field can slot between the built-ins. Printed-ticket layout is controlled on the Report Designer tab.
Custom Fields

Custom fields appear on the Weigh In / Weigh Out / Edit / Basic Ticket forms, as grid columns, and on printed tickets. Dropdown fields also get their own tab on Tables. Order shares one scale with the standard fields.

Locations

Optional physical locations (yards/facilities). With two or more active locations, a picker appears in the navbar — each operator chooses where they are, and that workstation only sees its location's scales. Assign scales to locations on the Scales page; bins and commodities can be limited to a location on Tables. Leave this empty for a single-location setup. Changes save immediately.

Email Server

Outgoing mail for scheduled reports and load emails. Defaults are for SMTP2GO — use the SMTP username and password from your SMTP2GO account (not your login). Any relay works. Changes save when you leave a field.

Scheduled Reports

Excel workbooks of what was weighed, emailed daily, weekly or monthly, to as many addresses as you like. Each one sends a saved report from the Reports page — its columns, grouping, totals and sheets per group — or the standard workbook of the fields enabled on the Fields tab plus net pounds. Pick what it covers with Date Range, and try it with Send Test before leaving it to run.

Individual Load Emails

Emails one message per load as soon as it's weighed out. Filter by customer, by commodity, by both, or by neither — leaving a filter empty matches everything. Several rules can match the same load; each sends its own email.

Prompts

When each field is asked, per place it can be weighed: the office weigh forms, the kiosk and the driver's phone. Office: which weigh form shows it, and whether it must be filled in. Kiosk and Phone: when the driver is asked, and whether they may skip it. Custom fields are set on each field in Schema.

Ask In This Order

Drag a prompt, or use the arrows, to change the order the kiosk asks in. Prompts switched off above keep their place here for when a rule turns them on.

Ask Differently For…

Change what a load is asked for, by its commodity, carrier or customer — skip the Truck ID for a carrier whose trucks carry no numbers, or ask for a Bin only when the commodity is one you store. A rule applies once the answer it reads has been given, so a rule about a commodity does nothing while the commodity prompt is still ahead. Asking wins: if one rule says ask and another says skip, the driver is asked.

Remote Printing
Automatic Printing

Tickets that print by themselves when a truck is weighed, at the kiosk and on the weigh forms. A reprint someone asks for always prints.

Ticket Text
Prints every line of the ticket bold and the net weight larger — thermal printers print regular text thin and grey. Applies to layouts changed on the Report Designer tab too.
Print Rules

Print or skip a ticket by what is on it — customer, carrier, truck, commodity and so on. Rules are checked in order and the first one that matches decides; a blank condition matches anything. The switches on the left are checked first.

Users & Security
Manage Users
Login is off. There are no user logins yet, so the site runs open. Adding the first user (an Admin) turns login on.
After the password, a 6-digit code is emailed to the user and must be entered to finish signing in. Needs email set up (Email tab) and an email address on every user. Off by default.

Kiosk PIN: 12345

When login is enabled, kiosks need the PIN to access the scale screen. Pass it as a URL parameter:

https://your-server/Kiosk?pin=12345

The PIN is stored as a cookie after the first visit so subsequent requests don't need it.

Lay out the printed tickets, and design reports of your own to print from Completed Trucks.

Ticket Layouts

Edit ticket layouts. Changes are saved and used when printing.

Reset Ticket Layouts

Reset ticket layouts to default format. Customizations will be lost.

Custom Reports

Reports you design here can be printed from Completed Trucks over whatever tickets the grid is showing. A new report starts as a simple list of tickets with a net total; open it to change anything. Every custom field is in the designer's Field List under Tickets.
